Marriage Weekend Getaway

The Weekend Getaway offers educational lectures on marriage and a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities and programs. The winter package will include cross-country skiing. All weekend packages includes dinner and accommodations Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Bedding is provided.

$175 per couple for Family Lodge, Beckham Lodge, and Aspen Lodge Guestroom accommodations

$135 per couple for Rustic Cabin accommodations.

Speaker: Jeff Hill, associate professor BYU

Jeff Hill is an associate professor of Family Life at BYU and a part time senior HR professional at IBM where he is a subject matter expert in work and family issues. He received a PhD in Family and Human Development from Utah State. Jeff has worked for IBM for more than 20 years serving in a variety of marketing and HR positions before joining the BYU School of Family Life faculty in 1998. At BYU he has taught classes in home and family living, family processes, child development, families in communities, the Family Proclamation, and work and family.

Speaker: Douglas Brinley, retired professor BYU

Douglas E. Brinley is a retired professor of Church History and Doctrine at BYU. He has authored or co-authored nine books on marriage and family topics including Between Husband and Wife:Gospel Perspectives on Marital Intimacy, First Comes Love, and its sequal, Then Comes Marriage, and Living a Covenant Marriage.
